Color-treated hair needs a little extra attention than most people think, there are some simple steps you can take. Nothing is worse than spending hours in the salon chair and big bucks for the newest trending color and then having it fade after a week due to not properly taking care them.

STEP 1. WAIT TIME
After chemical service, please wait up to 48 hours before washing your hair. We recommend using Dry Shampoo if you need to wash your hair.
STEP 2. SHAMPOO
Use color-safe or sulfate-free shampoo, and wash less frequently with cold-warm water.
STEP 3. HOME CARE
Ask your hairstylist about getting take-home care products, especially color shampoo for vivid or pastel colors.
STEP 4. TREATMENT
Adding protein and repair your hair cuticles and cortex once a week. Highly recommend Milbon in-salon treatment.
STEP 5. HEAT
Protect your hair from heated tools (no more than 280 degrees Fahrenheit), strong sunlight, and swimming pool (chlorine).
